Collagen Peptide Study

A Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Study to Assess the Effects of a Collagen Peptide Product on Perceived Gastrointestinal Discomfort in Healthy Adult Participants Ages 18-64 with Presence of Gastrointestinal Symptoms

The study will involve a total of 3 visits to our clinic (located in Guelph, Ontario) and one remote phone call over an 8-12 week period. If you complete the study in its entirety, compensation will be $500 for your time and travel to the clinic.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of the test product on perceived gastrointestinal symptoms, stress, quality of life, and cognitive function compared to a placebo.

Only a limited amount of spots available.

You may be eligible if you are:

Between 18 to 64 years old

In good general health

Have a BMI between 18.5 to 34.9 kg/m² (inclusive)

Willing to follow all restrictions throughout the study

Presence of GI symptoms with no diagnosed GI condition

Collagen Peptide Study

Participation will include:

3 visits to our clinic (located in Guelph, ON) + 1 remote phone call
Oral consumption of study product (powder product mixed with water) for 8 weeks
Daily diary completion for 8 weeks
Collection of stool samples on 2 occasions

Compensating up to $500
