Knee Osteoarthritis Pain Study

A Phase 3, Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Study to Investigate the Efficacy and Safety of Once Weekly Eloralintide in Adult Participants with Knee Osteoarthritis Pain, and Obesity or Overweight

The study will consist of a total of 16 visits to our clinic (located in Guelph, Ontario) and 6 remote phone calls over a 70-week period. If you complete the study in its entirety, compensation will be up to $5,580 for your time and travel to the clinic.

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate that eloralintide maximum tolerated dose (once weekly) is superior to placebo for changes in pain of the affected knee and body weight.

Only a limited amount of spots available.

You may be eligible if you:

Are aged 18 years or older

Are obese or overweight

Have not lost or gained 5% or more of your body weight in the last 3 months

Have tried, at some point, to lose weight by changing what you eat, but it did not work

Have a diagnosis of osteoarthritis of the knee and pain in the knee

Participation will include:

16 visits to our clinic (located in Guelph, ON) and 6 remote phone calls over a 70-week period
Once-weekly subcutaneous prefilled injection of the investigational product for 64 weeks
Multiple blood draws, urine sample collections, and X-rays performed

Compensating up to $5,580
